Creating Your First Case

Explain how to start a case and what a case represents.

Updated this week

What is a Case?

A case represents a single surgical workflow.
It includes imaging, planning steps, PSI design, and final outputs.

How to Create a Case

  1. Select a procedure / indication

  2. Upload imaging (usually DICOM)

  3. Enter required case details (date, side, identifier, etc.)

  4. Click Confirm

Once confirmed, the case moves to processing.

Important Notes

  • All required fields must be completed

  • Imaging is anonymized locally before upload

  • You cannot proceed without confirming the step

Multi-Group Cases

Some cases include multiple anatomical groups, such as:

  • Shoulder: scapula + humerus

  • Knee: femur + tibia

Each group has its own workflow, planning, and files.

Always confirm which group you are working on.
