What CORA Can Do

What CORA can do in CustoMED, with example phrases.

This article lists what CORA can do in CustoMED, with example phrases you can say or type. It is for anyone who uses CORA while working on cases. To turn CORA on, see Meet CORA: Your Voice Assistant.

CORA understands the page you're on and adapts to it. You can ask "What can you do here?" at any time.

Finding and opening cases

  • Open a case: "Open case 123".

  • Go to your cases list, filtered: "Show my cases from last month", "Show the cases awaiting scan files".

  • Ask about the cases on screen: "Which of these cases are Plan Only?"

In the viewer and 3D editor

  • Camera: "Zoom in", "Rotate to the anterior view", "Reset the view", "Pan left".

  • CT slices: "Scroll down a few slices", "Maximize this view". Slice scrolling works on pages with a CT slice view, such as Segmentation.

  • Pre-op and post-op: "Switch to the post-op anatomy".

  • Visibility and color: "Hide the tibia", "Make the femur blue".

  • Selection and focus: "Select the scapula", "Focus on the humerus".

  • Moving objects: "Move the implant up a little", "Rotate the template slightly".

  • Landmarks: "Move the glenoid center up a little".

  • Undo and redo: "Undo that", "Redo".

Measurements

  • Find a measurement: "Highlight the version measurement".

  • Set a planned value: in Surgery Planning, "Set inclination to 5 degrees". CORA follows the same rules as typing the value yourself, including directional values: a positive number keeps the current direction and a negative number flips it.

Forms and buttons

  • Fill in fields and pick options, for example while you create a case.

  • Click buttons and switch toggles: "Click Next".

Approving, rejecting and exporting

CORA can approve, reject or export a case for you, but it always asks you to confirm first. CORA can only approve when your role can approve: for example, Technicians and Organization Supervisors cannot approve through CORA.

Questions about CustoMED

Ask CORA how something works, for example "What slice thickness do you need?", and it answers from the CustoMED help center with a link to the article.

What CORA won't change

CORA follows the same permissions as the interface.

  • On a view-only or completed case, CORA can still move the view and answer questions, but it won't select, move, show or hide objects, or change measurements.

  • Objects and landmarks can only be moved in the Reduction, Landmarks, Surgery Planning and PSI Design steps.

  • Showing or hiding objects, changing colors, and undo or redo are not available in PSI Design or Approve.

Tips for best results

  • Be specific about the object ("the tibia", "this landmark").

  • One request at a time works better than long chained sentences.

  • If CORA mishears a number, type it.
