This article shows you the fastest ways to find a case in a long case list: tabs, search, filters and CORA. It is for anyone who manages many cases. For an overview of the home page, see The Case Manager.
Tabs
Back Office: cases waiting in back-office review (shown to back-office users only)
Recently Viewed: the last 6 cases you opened in this browser
All: every case you can access, including archived cases
Active: cases in progress
In Production: approved cases whose PSI is ready for or in production
Completed: finished cases
Archived: cases you have set aside
The list opens on Recently Viewed if you have opened cases before, and on Active otherwise.
Search
Type in the Search field to find a case by its case number, case identifier, printable label, patient hint, surgery type or symbol, creator, case notes, surgery groups, case parameters or case output (Plan Only or Plan and PSI). Search looks through every case you can access in the selected organization, so it switches the list to the All tab.
Filters
Click the filter icon next to the search field to open the filter panel. It has three tabs:
Case State: select one or more stages, for example Segmentation, Awaiting Approval or In Production. Use Select all or Unselect all to change many at once.
Date: pick a date range on the calendar. Click once for the start date and again for the end date. A case matches if its creation date, last update, surgery date or scan date falls in the range.
Surgery Type: show only certain procedures.
The number of active filters is shown on each tab. Click Clear All Filters to start over. Applying a case state or date filter switches the list to the All tab, so the filter covers every case. If you then pick another tab, your filters stay applied.
A fast daily triage
Open the filter panel and select the Awaiting Scan Files, Segmentation and Awaiting Approval states. These usually need you.
Leave cases with a lock icon to the back office. They are in review and cannot be edited until they are sent back to you.
Ask CORA
You can also ask CORA, for example "Show my active cases" or "Open my most recently viewed case". See What CORA Can Do.
